Nestled by the beautiful Pevensey Levels just a little way from the south coast, The Lamb Inn is a proudly welcoming and relaxed country pub with the very best in food all year round.

We’re a family owned and family friendly Inn serving up gorgeous food and a warm atmosphere to all kinds of visitors. We pride ourselves on being the classic country pub with traditionally refurbished interiors and roaring open fires to welcome even the weariest traveller; although today it’s more often wildlife watchers and ramblers than the smugglers and merchants of old!

You can find details of our home cooked meals often made from local produce across this website, and you’ll also find a great selection of drinks here. With freehouse licensing we offer a great selection of beers, wines and spirits as well as real ales and a regularly changing guest ale slot!

Based near to the historical 1066 walk, Herstmonceux Castle, the natural beauty of the Pevensey Levels and all kinds of birdlife The Lamb Inn makes a great place to stop off for lunch or to wind up a good day of walking and watching with some warmth, comfort and fantastic food.

In summer there’s a lovely garden area, patio and outside heaters and we put on special events throughout the year like Christmas carol singers; and everyone is welcome, including children and well behaved dogs in the bar!
